Jenny Zellea | Director of Development

Jenny Zellea is the Director of Development at Viewfinder and brings an experienced and varied background in the development and production of some of television’s most successful reality shows, games shows, and live music and sporting events.

Having served as a producer on shows such as NBC’s Emmy award-winning Fear Factor, ABC’s Emmy award-winning Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and NBC’s Emmy award winning Deal or No Deal, she has proven herself to be a valuable asset in Reality TV.

Jenny has extensive experience as a producer of live concert events. Serving as Coordinating Producer of Live Earth: The Concerts for a Climate in Crisis, and as a Producer on the online music series AOL Music Live!

In recent years, Jenny has served as a producer on events for the NHL, Such as the 2010 Bridgstone NHL Winter Classic, the 2009 NHL Awards, and 2008 NHL Face-Off Rocks.

In addition to Jenny’s vast experience in production, she also brings a specialty in casting to the table. She began this niche by casting NBC’s Fear Factor for 2 years, before moving on to cast ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. In total, Jenny has cast over a dozen shows, including NBC’s America’s Toughest Jobs, ABC’s Set for Life, ABC’s Show Me the Money and The Discovery Channel’s The Colony

. Jenny began her professional career while still in college, working as an Associate Producer on Reality TV shows for MTV, VH1, and Bravo in New York City. She relocated to Los Angeles in 2004 and has traveled extensively both nationally and internationally on a variety of projects.

Originally from N.J., Jenny is a graduate from the University of Delaware and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Television Productions, as well as a minor in English. Jenny currently resides in Hollywood with her husband, two-time Grammy award winning music producer and composer, Jarrett Zellea, and their dog Winston.
